I recently switched deodorants. I’m no longer using an antiperspirant containing Aluminum Zirconium Tetrachlorohydrex. The first two days were hard because I wasn’t used to perspiring under my arms. But, I had to remember that this is natural and I should perspire. This new deodorant was doing the job of keeping bad odors at bay…so a little perspiration didn’t seem so bad. After a couple days my body kind of figured it out and regulated. I was no longer perspiring as much. The dry skinned rash I have had around my armpits for years vanished. Even better, no more white residue on my bras! And to top it off, my personality shifted a bit and I became happier and more content. No longer would I worry about a potentially harmful chemical invading my body on a daily bases. The new deodorant I use is called “herbal clear” and it’s hypoallergenic, natural, and made with Tea tree Oil and Vitamin E. I bought the “Sport” version. It comes in a yellow stick. I wish I had switched deodorants years ago. But, I’m glad I have now. I don’t have to have a voice in the back of my head worried that I could develop breast cancer because I’m using an antiperspirant with harsh chemicals. Now, I’m a lot more at ease. Change is good. Take the plunge peeps! You can always go back if you don’t like it.
